actually, its from the days of 7" vinyl...
the a-side would be the single track, the b-side would be another track... didnt usually have instrumental versions, just 2tracks...
double a-side is when both tracks are promoted as singles... or in the case of [H] + [&] = triple-a-side... in the case of [A] = quadruple-a-side
