I suggest a mass deletion of inactive accounts.

Spoiler:

EDIT: just checked. this site doesn't publically show it. but many forums say how many active members there are. for example it'll say "total members: 500" "active members: 329" or something random like that. not how many people are online at that time. but how many accounts are actually active on the site. I'm sure admins have access to that. Be like god with that murdering of the first sons thing. no exception or leeway. just mass delete every and any account that has had little or no posts in the last few months/accounts that haven't been accessed in a certain amount of time (like get rid of all accounts that haven't been used in half a year or so)/and so on. its a way of truly getting rid of the inactive accounts. and those who were deleted, if they really want to be part of the community than they can either sign up. or the staff can set a mass deletion date and those who are getting deleted can recieve an email, and a pm and if they do not reply before the deadline saying they want to keep their account then its too bad for them.

yeah...I don't really take the word "mercy" lightly.
