When I really want to
listen to something, a CD player with headphones is the only way to do it. I guess I'm just very attached to "physically" playing music, as in I need to have a CD and artwork to feel like I really own an album and appreciate the artist.
I do have an iPod, though, and it's really awesome for travel or when I can't decide what to listen to and just want to put shuffle on. Plus (as many have already mentioned) I have Last.fm and it's pretty much digital or nothing if I want to scrobble anything! However, this last point also brings me to another benefit of CD players --- if I
don't want to scrobble something or I feel the need to play something many times in a row, nobody needs to know.
