Yeah so exactly what I mean. I already know it doesn't mean much if a girl uses boku nowadays but it does in fact remind me of male speech. Also, although I believe you when you say most J girls you know use "boku", of all the J girls I've met and befriended, atashi and watashi have been most common, atashi being used exclusively in informal situations. Perhaps they prefer a more feminine tone to their speech?

I don't really know what J poeple would prefere about Ayu. Well.... if she uses "ore" it would be relly strange and not appreciated I think xD
Anyway I think there's no problem about the "masculine / feminine" tone of Ayu's lyrics. Only about some words that doesn't reflect the whole single (cover/PV/tune) (and afterwards Ayu's age.. ).
