The concert was fun but my head is pounding right now (I can't really think straight, it's hurting so much) so I'll write a report later.
EDIT: [3 hours later] Well the Tylenol worked and now my head feels fine. Just some brief comments/ramblings and I'll write a full/better/more comprehensive report tomorrow after work (so glad I only work half a day on Mondays, I'm going to be so deadddd tomorrow, lol):
(Sorry for the quality, I took it with my cell phone and people were pushing me so that's why the angle kind of sucks :\)
Spoiler:
-These girls not too far from me started the "JUMP! JUMP!" cheer 30 minutes before the concert was supposed to start. No joke. Now THAT is hardcore.
-I was sort of surprised how the concert opened -- it was my first HSJ concert -- and it started off with some juniors (sorry, except for the major juniors, I know like none of them so I'm going to be bad at names with this) and then they announced HSJ and then they came out. Sort of different.
-I guessed right that they'd open with "Ultra Music Power" and then they did a single run with "Dreams come true" and "Your Seed" up next.
-They had two moving stages there; I haven't seen the moving stage in quite awhile, was nice to see it again.
-Overall the boys had a lot of energy and the audience was LOUD. I think they were the loudest out of any JE con I've been to (the younger the group, the louder the audience...)
-Then we got some solos early on -- Yamada took off his shirt which led to LOUD screams.
-Takaki's solo was my favorite (haha, no bias or anything, yeah right =X). It was a rock song, I liked it a lot.
-Hikaru sung Hikari Hitotsu (the theme to Orthros) and then another song. He asked the audience to turn off their penlights and then on his word, for those who had a red sticker on their seat to turn them on. My seat didn't have a red sticker, haha. It spelled out his name in kanji a few times and once in romaji. It looked really cool.
-They also played as a band (kind of, it sounded like they were playing over recorded music to me, but I'm used to real band music) -- I liked that they threw in "DAYBREAK," it's one of my favorite JE songs
-Yuma Nakayama showed up (okay that kid really has grown on me) and they had a "undokai race." I enjoyed it way more than I should have, lol.
-there was no [real] MC (probably the only thing I was disappointed with) -- they took a bijillion pictures and did an interview (sooo going to be on TV tomorrow!) and then made some announcements (the winter tour, the photobook + DVD, getting their own FC, etc)
-NYC boys performed (Yuma was still hanging around) -- Akuma no Koi, NYC, and Dial Up (NYC got a huge reaction from the audience)
-Mayonaka no Shadow Boy's my favorite HSJ song so I liked seeing it live. They danced. <333 *happy*
-each member gave a final message and a bunch of them cried. Takaki and Hikaru notably didn't cry, but Yabu, Yamada, etc were crying.
-They dropped balloons all over the audience.
-They did a double encore! Haha, that puts them a step up over KAT-TUN right there.
-The concert was about 2.5 hours, it started at 5:30 and ended at 8:02 (according to my Softbank phone!)
