those arguments doesn't quite convince me. The problem here, i think, is that the term rock, unfortunately, is used to loosely and can be used to describe punk, grunge, post grunge and even metal music

(among other roots of rock music) ... so i guess this is where we part ways.
While i agree that some of her tracks have pop influences (a pop influence doesn't make a track strictly pop) or an R&B influences (Love N Hate) I totally believe Rule (i.e.) Ladie's night (another night) because of you and others are rock.

and i don't think ayu always needs to make rock in her albums to be considered a rocker.
I DO consider ayu's rock... rock.
Oh, and by the way (back to topic) the only track i would change is evolution. I don't see how that track is rock at all
