It will obviously be a huge contributing factor. As andrenokoi mentioned, its kinda all over her lyrics and interviews. It's also considered no secret really that it was Nagase Tomoya who wanted to move the relationship forward, but that Ayu was kind of the one putting the brakes on it. I can only imagine how he must of felt when reading the lyrics to songs like Happy Ending and such etc etc. Honestly I wouldn't be that surprised if Ayu ends up never getting married or at least not until much later in life - it seems that's likely just how her personality is.
