Actually, there are probably several examples of artists that have released music for free. For example, Radiohead made their entire album free and gave people the option of paying for it only if they want to.
But that's a totally seperate thing - I know Avex wouldn't let her release the song for free probably even if she wanted to. But since people around here seem to be classifying this song as a gift for fans, I just wanted to point out that usually you wouldn't have to pay for a gift.
That aside, I'm thinking that this will be the only upbeat song on the single - maybe rockish sounding.
