Let's take an american artist. someone that doesn't speak a word of japanese, taylor switft! its like her album fearless, is it? having every single song title in japanese. It would make no sense, she doesn't speak a word of japanese and you turn to the back of the album and see every single song title is in kanji like sotsugyo shashin, and anata ga shite kureta koto (yes, koda kumi!)

I don't even think ayu knows what they mean. she didn't speak a word of english till just a few years ago and I bet if we went years and years back and had her read us the track list off one of her albums. she wouldn't be able to do it. it would be just as weird as if every single song off an album of hers had a title in french or swahili. Really pointless unless your incorporate that language into it.

namie has tooons of english song titled...songs. but they all have tons of english in the lyrics and yes, she has a french titled song with no french in it (moi et tu? is it?) but that is one. you don't see her naming every song she has in french.
Okkkkkkayyy. But see, unlike japanese, English is pretty much the universal language. Singers from all over the world use english titles because they're most accessible. So it's NOT just as weird as a title being in french or swahili; It's english, and english is the most-spoken language on our planet.. Taylor Swift using Japanese titles would be weird, because Japanese is spoken mostly in one country - Japan. English is spoken everywhere - obviously to different extents in different countries - but still, more or less everywhere. Jeez... talk about trvial things to nitpick about

And I don't even know where to start with CoriKaru's post...

I guess Ayumi isn't taking that break she so desperately needs.
What? She's released 3 singles this year, one in February, one in August, and one in December. Those are long gaps for releasing singles, especially compared to Koda Kumi :S

And I wouldn't really jump all over her for the titles. I'm not sure if she's even writing these songs, but if not, odds are she's not titling them either.
First of all - "THE SUN SONG"? What? And you're suggesting that Ayumi Hamasaki isn't writing these songs? Again... What? Excluding the cover songs, she's written every single song in her discography. This is such an elementary Ayu fact that I can't believe I'm reiterating it here XD

While I agree that BALLAD is one of the worst titles ever, I think you take it to all new levels of hyperbole. Yes, the title of a song will keep you from ever being warm again. ever.
