i had the same assumption. but then, when you're studying Japanese language & culture, you find out there's a region named "Kinki" in Japan. LOL. it's where they're from.
but i do recommend their music! while it's in the idol pop genre, it's
good idol pop, imo. but they venture to many different genres too. rock, dance, fierce 90s-esque music, etc.
