So I hope I am not rambling but I think this all depends on the interpertation, we all, myself included, just have to make sure that our evidence is logical. I will say this much though, for some songs the meanings are very ambigious, I think Ayu is a fantastic lyricist, however some songs are very confusing whether it is because the words are lost in translation, literally, or it because she is just very confused, or I just do not understand some things. I do not think I will ever understand Kanariya, are the canaries an allegory for something else . So I guess we can all give each other a little bit of wiggle room if we make some mistakes in interpertation. Like I said sorry if I rambled on and excuse me if I offened anyone!

yes, i agree. many things can depend on interpretation and depend also on the feelings we have listen to them.
Most of the menings can also be lost in translation, infact, if I compare my translation of HEAVEN to masa's translation they're pretty different.
Maybe because sometimes we make mnore than one translation (i usually translate from japanese to italian and from italian to english).
But feelings really incise the final meaning of lyrics.
As you know all, an objective translation it's impossible.
