ummm... I DIDN'T say I stopped listening to western music. And I didn't say ALL western songs were the ones I described. I don't want to start anyarguments on this and I'm just gonna say this, I've been listening to western music since I can remember. And since then most of the songs sounded the same thing. They were sounding not too personal anymore, for me anyways. That's why when I heard jpop songs I easily got "converted" to loving jpop.
I do agree there are some good western artists, but at the rate the crappy ones are rising right now, I'm not gonna take my chances yet until I hear a really really good song that has lyrics that will touch the inside.
Don't get me wrong, I still love a few western artists like I love ayu or any other jpop artists.
