That is because everyone on that show was supposed to sing an old song. This show though isn't usually like that.(unless they do a special theme or something, which would be great!) I hear Arashi is doing a medley of their hits, so it might end up being something like that.
Oh! So that's what that thing with MW and SURREAL was last year? I see I see.... Even so, I hope she sneaks BALLAD in a performance for one of the shows for this holiday season somewhere, even though You were... is the main A-side.
