I'm wondering about the letters though. Shu-ya was writing them thinking that they'd reach Ayu, but they didn't, because that was inside of his mind while he's in a comma... he realizes that world isn't real when the mailman's mask comes off, and he sees that all he wrote is still in the box and wasn't sent. Maybe she was saying it to him by the bed, and inside his mind her words were received in the form of a letter? And the fairy-Ayu in the heaven-like settin is what, if she's alive and well? @____@ *confused*
