^ Yeah, lucky. But hey, most artists that get their big break (Ayu, Kuu) were extremely lucky--right place, right time, no one else at the time doing something like that...

I don't think Tetsuya Komuro's influence was necessarily confined to the 90s though. What I meant was that because he was so influential throughout the 90s, his influence must have outlived the 90s because it would have paved the groundwork for the music in the new decade.
