Would you be happier if they were called "The September Concerts"? "Anniversary" is an accurate description. It could be a marketing thing to give them extra significance. The concert series is actually called "LOVE IS BORN" because they also coincide with her birthday. But you may think calling them birthday concerts would kind of make her seem full of herself as well. Someone said "You cannot please all of the people all of the time". (Too lazy to look it up.)
