I'm well aware Kumi's singles sell low, I mentioned that already + that she's been declining in both singles and albums rapidly right after her peak ie. Black Cherry/2006 era and that scandal. + In her peak Kumi has never managed to sell an album as much as Ayu has even after her major peak. I was only pointing out that others have been affected by declined sales too. Ayu is mentioned when discussing sales etc because, well, she is still a big part of the Japanese music industry. I don't see why it would mean anything if she is mentioned when comparing sales etc but others aren't? I'm not attacking her or bashing her just because I mentioned her. She's my 2nd favourite artist so I don't understand why I would :\
@jbrat - I agree with you, that BEST naming thing is inaccurate but that's why I would ignore the label 'BEST'. Cuz doing it your way, as you said, Kuu would have 3 compilations and 2 bests. And Ayu released 2 A BEST II's so I would count that too. So she would have 3 BESTs and 2 compilations too imo
