Being a featured article isn't something to be too excited about. It just means that visitors of Wiki rate it the highest when it comes to how it looks, really.

Yeah, I know you weren't being critical about the picture--I just needed to clarify, because there are a lot of people who are always wondering why we don't use nicer pictures, like from professional sources, on Wikipedia (myself included before I became a dedicated Wiki editor). And featured articles are actually the "cream of the crop" of Wiki's articles; they're the best-written (well-sourced, good prose, have to undergo a peer review and be approved by a unanimous vote to pass, etc.) as opposed to the most popular, which is why some extremely popular articles aren't featured, whereas some really obscure ones are (like "Economy of the Iroquois" and "Amador Valley High School"--I kid you not.)
I'll have a more detailed caption up soon--I just need to gather some reliable sources first. Wiki's notoriously picky about sourcing information.
