That girl is amazing. If I just glanced at her, and just listened to her voice, I would have sworn she were the real thing!

Yeah, it's supposed to be making fun of them, but in an endearing way, if that makes sense. XD It's common place in Japan to pick a popular singer and make an act out of their flaws, hah. But not because they don't like them, like some cultures would. Japan picks the people they love (like Ayu and Hikki). It is a kind of humour you either have or you don't, though, true.
