Most of the time, anyone who preorders will be guaranteed a first press. At least with Ayu, that's the case because they print so many.

As we all know, the calendars are ALWAYS postponed by at least a month every year~ (It's very common and has happened every year since I became a fan.)
And You were... was special in that Hatsukoi [a HUGE single] got released on the same day, so somehow avex got to switch it to a safer date at 12/29 for the #1. Shifty, I know, but it happened and I don't really care, haha.
