Especially when fans told her about a postcard (or something) they brought for her, she just looked at them with pouted lips and eyes that said "I don't understand a word you're saying". (but that doesn't matter anyway cause I'm sure she read the card / book very carefully afterwards)

I got that feeling too sometimes, but I think she sometimes just didn't catch what some people said ("I'm sorry, what did you say?"). She did her best
And I agree with you, she is really nice and friendly
She really cares about her fans
