Yeah, I think I'd have to agree.

I think you hardly ever see CD+DVD releases in the U.S. because the content is so easily available on iTunes and YouTube [as in, the official companies themselves upload the video for watching].
Korea does the same thing with providing music videos and such on sites like GomTV.

But with Japan, as far as I know, they've stuck with occasional airings on music channels, playings in stores as promos, and of course...CD+DVD releases. Only recently, I think, have they started going to the internet (like how Ayu's official youtube was recently created).
