Rock'n'Roll is the serious side of Ayu's music/the album, and the Circus is the light hearted more "fun" side.
It's a bit hard to ignore the parallels considering it's present in all of the PVs for the album basically....

Yes yes!! THIS. NL lacked hard rock, strong ballads, rock ballads. Almost everything that Ayu Normally does. Or rather, things that made Ayu love her..something that is classic Ayu. Not saying its songs are bad, but there's just something missing..but well, the album stuck to its theme really well i have to say.
R'N'R CIRCUS is fantastic!!!!!!!! Bringing everything back. Now I know what she means by "visit to the past"..something along those lines...
that snippet of SLT in the CM, really reminds me of rollin' (music-wise)..im sure i'll be surprised haha
