Because I chose Air Mail for CDJapan (I wasn't going to drop ~SIXTY dollars just for EMS shipping on ONE album, JFC), and I can't remember if the last time I preordered something with the Air Mail option shipped out before the release date (that last preorder being Wakeshima Kanon's 'Suna no Oshiro' single).

I'm totally fine if Air Mail doesn't do that, seeing as I wait up to TWO FREAKING EXACT WEEKS for my YesAsia crap (when I decide I feel like dealing with that slow as eff shipping b.s.).
Actually they also ship registered air mails before the release date. ^^
At least from my experience...
