don't overreact over a magazine shoot or an album cover or a video, 'cuase all of these not only get "photoshop" but there so many things involved too, camera lenses, make up, angles, lightning, face expressions, color etc. etc...
This subject can be discuss sure, but I think it becomes pointless when you compare professional shoots over "real" photos or even "videos".
