1. Morning Musume
Momusu have stood out to me this year, with the release of their amazing album "⑩ MY ME" and amazing singles ''気まぐれプリンセス", "女が目立って なぜイケナイ", "なんちゃって恋愛" and "しょうがない 夢追い人". They are the best H!P group IMO.
2. Berryz Kobo
If I had voted later, Berryz would have been #3 and Buono! #2, but oh well. Berryz's single "雄叫びボーイ WAO!/友達は友達なんだ" was good, but all the others were a bit, meh. "6th 雄叫びアルバム" was a bit mediocre, nowhere near as good as "5 (FIVE)" or "4th 愛のなんちゃら指数" The best single of the "6th" era was "抱きしめて 抱きしめて" IMO.
3.℃-ute
Again, if I voted later, they would be #4, because recently, their music has just underwhelmed me. Meeeeeh, "Bye Bye Bye!" seemed a bit, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. "暑中お見舞い申し上げます" was underhwelming. "EVERYDAY 絶好調!!" is more of the ℃-ute that I would like to hear. "SHOCK!" was again, something that they should do more. "ショッキング 5" was seriously a dissapointing album, underpar with their other albums. Though being fair to them, "キャンパスライフ～生まれて来てよかった～" sounds excellent
4. Buono!
Guy, these would be #2 because this group is kickass, but they're music used to make me go
. But now, I appreciate the music. They started 2009 with "co・no・mi・chi", a great pop tune. "Buono! 2" was a brilliant album, blowing "Café Buono!" out the water. Tne next singles, "MY BOY" and "Take It Easy!" were brilliant in their own right, with "MY BOY" having the better A-Side and "Take It Easy!" having the better C/W song. "Bravo☆Bravo" was a truly brilliant pop record, with "-Winter Story-" and "Bravo☆Bravo" being as amazing as eachother. "OUR SONGS" was a great single, and "We Are Buono!" was an AMAZING album. I love this group ♥
5. S/mileage
I'm not crazy about this group, but some of their songs are good. My fav song is probably "ぁまのじゃく" or "スキちゃん". I'm glad they passed their challenge, but "夢見る １５歳" will definately have to grow on me.
6. Guardians 4
My least favourite of all the H!P groups. "SCHOOL DAYS" was a bit
too cheesy my liking. "Going On!" was a nice tune, and "PARTY TIME" was nice as well. My favourite tune though is "おまかせ♪ガーディアン".

I've never really been interested in her, but her new song sounds really good as well. And she's got a modelling career as well
