Then why is it that some of japan's most popular actresses/actors nearly always have flop or lackluster music careers? This might come as a shock but if the general public truly doesn't like the music they will not purchase the album/single no matter whose name is on it

and since when are only the sales of singles the best way to measure if someones music is popular or not...
