Had Namie released it as a re-cut single it would of done amazing. At the beginning of the month the song was still in the top 30 Chaku-uta charts. It's hard to have "hits" when you never release singles that are properly promoted.

What is the chaku-uta certification of meaning of us, since its been charting for 4 months now?
Anyhow, alot of speculation in this thread so of course I'm going to add mine; based on what your saying and the history of Namie's comeback, seems to me that her current success is totally attributed to marketing ala Koda Kumi during the 12 singles era. That Vidal Sasson contract was the best thing Namie could have ever done.
I'm also one of the ones who just cant get into RnR Circus. It flows well, but I just can't find alot of it memorable. Its almost like GUILTY part 2. I wish she'd take her time with the next album and make a Secret, Duty or LoveAppears part 2.
