Ayu does not have that many songs anyone could sing or would sound as good if anyone else have sung them. She has a uniqueness to her music that is just missing from Last Links. I don't HATE Last Links, it's a nice listen. But it just falls so low below the bar for me as far as Ayu's music is concerned.

Even compared to those songs Last Links is the worst as far as originality. It's not about the instrumentals or composition of this particular song. I don't feel anything from it at all. Her voice doesn't deliver the song. Even in Sunset her vocals are better (as my friend who doesn't like her would describe, "sexy"
). When I say anyone could sing it, I literally mean anyone could sing it, because Ayu's emotion are not there in my opinion.
And it feels so rushed, it seems like she's singing the entire song through without stopping because she wants to get it over with. In the universally agreed generic song Days, Ayu's voice is FILLED with emotion and sweet tenderness and that is why Days has captivated a lot of fans and is STILL on the charts (in one way or another). But this isn't about those, this is about the 15 sec clip of MOON, which so far seems to deliver as much as Last Links which is nothing at least to me. But I'll wait for the full song because I still really want to hear it.
