I'm saying, they're going to want another song to promote in between their promotions of "2 Different Tears" (which i suspect they'll promote for 3 months = suitable time) and the album... so they have 2 months or so of time. And this is the one song they might actually be able to get a hit with, so it'd be stupid in terms of marketing to not do it.
I don't think JYP cares if they lose old fans for being boring if they're gaining a ton of new fans by actually having a hit stateside.
You are looking at this through a fans standpoint and not a business standpoint.
