My review of Bionic






1. Bionic
This is a fiercly uptempo song which I adore and love. Her eheh ohoh at the end is amazing.

2. Not Myself Tonight
In between all the other songs, this is one of the weakest songs on the albums. Still great though.

3. Woohoo
This is strangely addictive. I don't know why, I just love it. Telling you that you need only your face is a bit offputting, mind.

4. Elastic Love
Trust M.I.A. to come up with the 2nd best song on the album. An infectious beat, truly amazing, the metaphor 'rubber band' is a bit strange :\.

5. Desundate
This song I have a Marmite Relationship with. I like it, yet I don't like how she shouts 'GET NAKED FOR ME' near the end.

6. Love & Glamour (Intro)
This has really cool effects when she says ''You ahev to live it, you have to love it, you have to breathe it'. Flows into 'Glam' well.

7. Glam
This is totally not what I was expecting. I was expecting something fierce, additctive, yet we get something that sounds like from Sex & The City 2 OST. Good though.

8. Prima Donna
This is the fierce I was expecting from Glam. It is fierce, her vocals are amazing as usual, love it.

9. Morning Dessert (Intro)
Very relaxing, very gentile, slow jam-ish. Sets you up for the next song.

10. Sex For Breakfast
Erm....srsly? Calling a penis a honey drip. Puh-lease. But it is a bit high on the sex factor, but I love the tempo.

11. Lift Me Up
A beautiful, soaring power ballad. I really love this song! I always find myself crying when she goes 'Lift me uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup'!

12. My Heart (Intro)
OMG SO CUUUUUTE, but pointless otherwise.

13. All I Need
This is a beautiful song! I can feel the emotion pouring out of Xtina. Probably the most emotional on the album.

14. I Am
This is so beautiful. She is learning to accept who she is, imperfections and all, that she is timid, oversensitive, a lioness, has imperfections etc. etc. I love the feel that this song has, it is so calm.

15. You Lost Me
This is really emotional as well. She pours the emotin out into this song, I truly relate to her.

16. I Hate Boys
You sound really strange in a supermarket going 'I HATE BOYS, BUT BOYS LOVE ME' when you are a boy T_T. I like it though.

17. My Girls
A nice uptempo delight. Peaches's rap in the middle of the song was really clever and a nice surprise.

18. Vanity
OMG I dedicate this to my vain grandmother. This is a really fun track, and Max at the end saying 'You do Mommy' was a really cute touch!

19. Monday Morning
This is a fun track, dedicated to my Mother cos she hates Monday Mornings. This a really great disco track, and I like to sing along to it.

20. Bobblehead
For being the 2nd shortest song on the album, this seemed like the longest. It is rather boring actually. I find the lyrics and Xtina's voice irritating, but it is listenable. The weakest on the album.

21. Birds of Prey
OMG THE BEST ON THE ALBUM! This is truly amazing. I don't know why, but she gives off a totally convincing performance. It is a great song, with a delightfully creepy feel.

22. Stronger Than Ever
This is really convincing as well. It is a delightfully dark song, like BoP, making this one of my favourite songs on the album.

23. I Am (Stripped)
This Stripped version of I Am makes the song even more emotional, even more convincing, even more amazing. Her vocals are georgeous as well.

24. Little Dreamer
This is a slightly strange uptempo track. It has a totally different feel to the rest of the album. It is okay, I guess, but different to the rest.
