^lol well they're making $25-30 a cd so I'm pretty sure they're making more than someone working at Mcdonald's. I think also the revenue difference is a reason why Japanese record labels can afford to keep around more artist with under par sells vs American labels. I also think Japanese labels give more second chances rather than American labels. EX If BoA was with an American label they'd most likely have dropped her with the sales
