Obviously you are an uncultured heathen. So get out of my face please.
Greek and Roman mythology are classics from a culture that was highly sophisticated in the arts. Mythology shapes culture. I am insulted by the sheer lack of intelligence and culture on the part of the posters here for their lack of regard for the rich and artistic mythology the Greeks and Romans shared.
Venus is used as a representation of beauty. It is a common description in literature and poetry. A truly divine beauty, the Venus represents the ultimate feminine. The hurricane, on the other hand, conjures images of power and devastation. The imagery of the title suggests, to me, the perfect Femme Fatale. Which is makes it a very interesting title for the album, and makes me very interested to see the content of it. Obviously I'm not saying this is what BoA intends. But I'd bet my life she wasn't referring to the ****ing planet. It's VERY simple to make logical jumps to deduce the meaning and symbolism in titles. Someone who isn't able to demonstrates a lack of critical thinking and no grasp on symbolism and culture.
