I guess if I were to pick a time where her music went "downhill" it would be with the album Next Level. I liked that album a lot, but it wasn't so much... up to "Ayu Standards" or so to speak. She brought it back up with Rn'RC, where she seemed like she was trying harder, IMO. Of course I am not Ayu, so I couldn't necessarily say, but I felt her heart a lot more in Rn'RC than Next Level.
But on our definition of "downhill" in this thread, Her music has never really gone "downhill" to me
