For me it was March '09, I was totally clueless about kpop (didn't know what I was missing) but I was obsessed with Boys Before Flowers, so I decided to give it a shot and went to elepop's kpop recommendations thread, and the first thing to catch my eyes was a picture of nine beautiful girls .. I knew them from before as I remembered when they first debuted and everyone called them 'the female Super Junior'. So I checked their discography and the name "Gee" sounded cute so I went to imeem (I miss that place T___T) and watched the mv. Their beauty, the cute choreography, and the catchy beat just stunned me ! I found myself repeating the video and watching it over and over again, which was weird to me since I didn't watch the mv many times back in my Jpop-only days.
My first impression on the girls : Jess caught my attention first, she was my favorite back then <3 .. I thought Sooyoung was just GORGEOUS (And I still do XD) .. Hyo just stood out a lot, I guessed that she must be really popular (the irony ..) .. Seobaby, Yoona, and Yuri were triplets in my eyes, I was shocked whenever I saw people being able to tell them apart (the look so different to me now tho
)
