She doesn't say in the lyrics that she has become an adult,

But I think this is really important to remember, because she has always said that she didn't know what an adult was, and that you just can't call someone an adult simply because they aged (Heartplace.)

I firmly believe that this is about herself only.
At first the lyrics were very hard to interpret, because I thought she was singing to someone else.
But I think this song is like Rainbow, where she sang for herself, to herself, and written by herself, like a healing process.
It makes more sense if you think like that.

She has gone through so much since 2007, and for sure she has felt times where she went through complete darkness, and a time when she was presented with a crossroad, to give up, or not give up, when she became half-deaf, or when Nagase relationship ended, or even when A Complete came out, she had the chance to end her career on a high note, but instead she went on. I remember the retirement rumours around the time of A Complete, or even recently.

Anyways, that's my thoughts about the song, it's really the closing of a chapter in her life, and beginning of something new. She said Rock'N'Roll Circus would be a return to her roots, and now with crossroad, it's a new chapter, maybe not musically, but lyrically, or even lifestyle wise. She is not drinking much anymore, and she is doing everything properly to control and take care of her voice. It may take more time, but she will restore her voice to what it was.

Maybe that's what it means to be an adult from her perspective.
I love your interpretation! I think I can agree with it in full.
