Interesting, you guys are talking about families, because exactly today i showed my mum the performance of crossroad on the Music Station, and she didn't say much apart from that she sounds like all other singers but she loved the dress Ayu was wearing. My mum isn't too much into other cultures apart from russians and lithuanians, she's so old-minded..
Anyway talking about the song itself, the more I listen to it the more I like it. I told that it's ggonna grow on me. And it does. I totally love Ayu's voice. However, I still feel some sort of lack in the melody, probably because it's quite a poerful song melodic-aly and I just feel like i need to hear more electric guitars in chorus to prove it...probably gotta blame my obsession with rock music and rock ballads..
