Maybe she did not want to make something like Sparkle or STEP you for this. That may not be what she wants to give off
It may not be in her heart. Idk I would think some fans could figure these things out and understand how it makes sense

I understand it logically, I just dont' LIKE it. I'm not a ballad fan. Never have been, never will be. And 7 new songs all being ballads (Blossom is neither here nor there...ballad or not I don't like it) doesn't' get me excited for her upcoming album. It's why I was so disappointed with R'n'R Circus. There was ONE song on there that was rock.
