Tong Vfang Xien Qi (東方神起; Rising Gods of the East) (also known as Dong Bang Shin Ki (동방신기) in Korea and Tohoshinki (東方神起) in Japan, or by the acronyms TVXQ, DBSK, TVfXQ) is a K-Pop/J-Pop five-member male group from Korea. They debuted in Korea in January, 2004 under SM Entertainment label with the single "Hug", and in April, 2005 in Japan under rhythm zone label with the single "Stay With Me Tonight". In 2009 legal disputes have arisen with SM Entertainment that leaves the future of the group in Korea uncertain. One year later, in April 2010, avex stated through a press release that their activities in Japan were also put in hold or suspended.

Yunho and Changmin:
- taking part in SMTOWN *cough* World Tour concerts
- planning to release two solo albums and one duet song, 'Maximum'. That song, along with two solos, has been introduced to fans by performances at the SMTOWN Seoul Concert on 21th August.
- Changmin's korean drama, Paradise Meadow to be aired in February 2011 (ehh)
- Yunho taking the lead role in a korean musical which is an adaptation for famous drama 'Goong', concerts begin on September
- Yunho is taking part in a special Internet drama which is the advertisement for South Korea Tourism organization
- Junsu will hold a special musical concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium for four days, starting from October 7th. Junsu as the main character will be introducing Grammy Award winning, world renowned composer Sylvester Levay's famous production 'Elizabeth' for the first time in Korea along with highlights of the musical 'Mozart!' in which has been taking a lead role this year.
- another avex's milking release Special book "Tohoshinki Secret Stories 110" will be released on 10th September
- JYJ are going to have a korean comeback too! Trio is already contracted with Warner Music Korea. The album is currently in preparation with a tentative release date set for the mid-October. AND YUP BABIES IT'S THAT ALBUM WHICH KANYE WEST HELPED IN PRODUCTION, YO. This album is stressed to focus for activities in entire Asia rather than just South Korea though, therefore, it's expected that there are not many korean broadcast activities will happen in the future. (WHYYY) Asian tour to 10 countries including South Korea is also scheduled.
- JYJ have officially joined East Asia Entertainment, one of the biggest record labels in Asia. This new arrangement will see East Asia assisting JYJ to seek out opportunities in the lucrative Chinese market, focusing in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The new deal not only includes releasing music albums, but also entails concerts, CFs, movies, dramas, etc in the Chinese market.
