^iTunes Japan still uses
DRM on their files and it's pretty restrictive. I think you're only allowed to listen to your music on one computer.
Most other iTunes stores did away with DRM a few years ago and instead just embed your account info into your files; the idea being you won't share them because they can be tracked.
