Yup... this is exactly what the PV is about. Really, the ending saved this PV. I thought it was going to be about cheesy 60s/70s (sorry not sure what decade it was LOL) suburban life the entire time. The kids singing the lyrics was so awkward (as was the little boy struggling to open the car door at the beginning and that little girl hula-hooping behind Ayu during the pool scenes..)
I love the opening scene though with Mom-Ayu picking her (white lol) kids up from school. So freaking cute.
When I saw the video start to get distorted and Ayu at the pool, I was like "oh boy! Something's going to happen!" But I didn't expect modern day rock Ayu to wake up alone on a couch, haha. I know Ayu's talked about surprise endings before (Don't Look Back) but I think this PV has one of the most surprising/unexpected endings I've seen. (I'll be honest, I was disappointed with Don't Look Back's "surprise.")
Mm... I wonder if this is how Ayu feels about her career right now; wishing she were a "normal" mom with kids and a husband (and a dog) living a "normal" life.
Oh. And her lips look normal in this PV LOL No ducks or fish-lips going on.
