Not crazy about "high-necks" but... I can totally see the use of a turtleneck.
I could be wrong, but most people in Japan sleep without a heater turned on, so it gets pretty darn cold at night. It's not strange for people to sleep with a vest on, so why not a turtleneck? Plus all the benefits for the skin from the special fabric, wow!! Shows Ayu's in her thirties, LOL! Just like me!
