I'm not into Peco and Princess too, because they look out of place.
Peco's and Princess' low background vocals are okay, but once Peco goes high, she sounds really pitchy nasally. And don't get me started on those high kicks, hahaha.
I don't see anything wrong with Princess.
Anyway, they fit with the whole band.
I know from most concerts Peco and Princess sound kinda bad, and I noticed that in TV LIVEs they just lipsynch to the background vocals (and I thought only leads do that) and dance like they mean it, hahaha.
But I also noticed that before they came along, the previous background singers I saw in TV LIVEs don't do Ayu justice. They're barely audible and not to mention too soft and weak for Ayu's strong vocal.
It's just like different flavors; you don't dip candy into tobasco. They don't go together.
So, Peco and Princess do just that. Their harmony combinations compliment Ayu's singing.
I'm sure people who have heard Ayu in concert would say the vocals are awesome.
Peco and Princess are friends with Ayu, and they have great bond together.
What more can I say?
Ayu certainly knows what's best for her.
