there's a Filipino dish my bf's father ate one time called dinuguan, which is a stew of beef/pork and organs simmered in cow or pig blood. i think it's commonly called "black pudding" though. i don't think it's weird, it's just apart of the country/culture.
i just think people should be more open minded about trying different foods. my bf's mother always makes Filipino food and i find it funny how she assumes that i'll think the food is weird because it's not American. (not in a rude way though.) she made a fish dinner one time where the entire fish was baked without having the head or bones removed. she kept apologizing and offering me pizza or something else to eat, lol.
