I can understand why. Alot of Japanese tweets get one-off replies, instead of extended conversations like English tweets have. There may be many replies in Japanese, but when you really read them, most are just emoticons or one-word replies, like "OK" or "thank you". English tweets are fewer in number, but it's obvious ayu puts lots of thought into her replies. Like when one of you guys asked her about "November". She definitely talks alot more in English, and she even remembers some of your names. It's really sweet for us when we see it. ^^
But if I'm a Japanese fan who's been following ayu for a decade, buys all her releases, attends every concert, tweets her every day etc, but she doesn't even know my name, I'll be really jealous of you guys who got to meet her and have her remember you as a person and reply your tweets like a good friend. I'm sure it happens.
I'll not say more about this, just in case it sparks off another foreign vs Japanese fans war. I'm just glad ayu finds it easy to tweet in both languages and she's happy talking to every fan, Japanese or no.
