Okay, a quick summary of what happened with Tetsuya Komuro and how Max/other friends of his bailed him out:
- in 2006, Komuro tried to sell the rights to his 806 songs for a billion yen to some investor (the rights were NOT his) who paid 500 million yen to Komuro before learning that Komuro did not own the rights to the songs. He was unable to get his money back, and took it to the authorities. Komuro was fined 600 million yen at some point after losing a civil suit against him but failed to pay back the amount.
- Flash forward to 2008, Komuro was arrested and put in jail for about half a month (his sentence was estimated at 10 years max) before being bailed out for 30 million yen by avex, his wife KEIKO, and other parties.

So basically, he kind of owes avex a biiiiiiiig one.

I know he basically owes avex 10 years of his life now but he is rubbish. Most of the songs he's composed for avex since then have been crap/substandard (Virgin Road is really the only good one but even then its kinda simple). He's been composing all of AAA's recent stuff and although their popularity has gone up their music quality has gone waaaaay down
