Yeah, I don't think so. I think Koda looks better with the super long straight hair with weird streaks in it.
But Ayu looks pretty with it...I watched the dumb short version, damn avex, and I like how she styled it. It's not reminiscent of kuu or anything at all. And she looks nice, so meh.
