Yeah, they actually contain a mild poison that will cause your lips to puff up in reaction. I tried one once because it was the freebie in a magazine and my lips stang like a mofo. It really sucked xD
I think it's a combo of that lip stuff coming back into fashion along with big, full and pouty lips along with Ayu's general fashion direction. She wants to look more suited to upper fashion than the casual look she had years ago. As such she does overdramatic facial expression by nature
Sure she maybe had some collagen too to minimise wrinkles but it's so freaking common that it's not such a huge issue. Besides, she still has tonnes of facial epression, so she didn't have enough to freeze her face or anything lol
