Of course in general most people will hear if the vocals are bad or not.
I remeber going to Mylene Farmer show in Saint-Petersburg. The sound was REALLY lound so even her pitch seemed to sound higher that it really was. And of course I missed several off-key notes. But when I listened very clean fan recording of that show every single flaw was much more obvious even though that this show was very good vocal-wise.

If I missed your point, I'm sorry.
But I still disagree. I've been trained half my life as a musician to listen out for these things, so no matter how distracting the show is/how loud the speakers get, I normally recognize it when ayu goes off-pitch.
With that, I still stick with my point that ayu's live vocals were definitely not that atrocity that was the TV version.
