^It's older than that. Rock U is from 2009 (It came out almost a year before Past<Future). Which is why when I first saw the trailer I was like "wow, they're using an old song.". Of course 2009 isn't "old", but usually trailers tend to use brand new/just released songs. It'd be like seeing a tv trailer aire today using the song Next Level. lol You wouldn't expect commercials to use a "not so new" song. [/rambling]
you shouldn't let a commercial make up your mind about a song. lol besides, it's from namie! who cares what the song is being used for? I don't watch half the commercials her songs are used for anyway.
